Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida

Because I Was a Girl Scout

Celebrating 100 Years of Girl Scouting

Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida is working to identify women who were Girl Scouts and who have made an impact that they attribute to being a Girl Scout or for whom Girl Scouting had a significant impact
on their life. We will select some of these stories to generate brand
awareness and visibility for Girl Scouting during our 100th Anniversary
year and beyond. All stories will be available to view on this website.

Eligible women do not have to have been a Girl Scout here. You need to
currently be part or full – time residents living in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin,
